This donut seal is one of two essential spare parts used to replace worn components in Villeroy & Boch close-coupled cisterns. Commonly purchased with the bolt fixing kit, it's used when there's a suspected leak between the cistern and the toilet pan. To help prevent future issues, it's recommended to replace the seal every 10 years, as the rubber can degrade over time.
