Introducing Nood Co
Nood Co is a Western Australia company that took a common building material - concrete and beautified it!
They added curves, beautiful colours and design and created stunning pieces that suit organic, industrial and contemporary bathroom design styles.
The formation of Nood Co concrete was accidental. Co-directors Chris and Matt were working on redesigning a high-end home in Australia some 7 years ago, which involved using concrete and together created a manufacturing process which improves the strength of the concrete and an unbeatable consistency in colour and patina, removing the issue of concrete and its random nature.
Add to that the handmade processing touches which together results in the beauty of their pieces that carry a 24 month warranty. Nood products have sold in 42 countries and the company continues to expand.
A SOLID COLOURING SYSTEM
Nood Co concrete is pigmented with 100% chemical free colour, so the basins are 100% coloured throughout, and a choice of fourteen colours to choose from.
ECO - FRIENDLY MATERIALS & SUSTAINABILITY
Nood Co concrete has zero chemicals, Nood tint has zero chemicals. Nood basins are waxed in 100% organic wax. Healthy, happy concrete. Nood basins, interestingly, take 96% less embodied energy to make than their ceramic equal.
SEALING
Nood Co basins are unique in they have several admixes that give the basins an incredible water tolerance. Nood basins are sealed with a unique penetrative sealer that ensures they will not delaminate in time, and never need resealing.
