Reflective of the 1930’s Bauhaus movement and the beginning of modernist architecture, Vienna incorporates distinct features of that era.
Architects Mies, Gropius and Meyer were founders of the movement that promoted the ‘less is more’ concept, along with the features of that era which included the combination of squares, rectangles and rounded corners.
With the squared handle post and the delicately ribbed handle, Vienna showcases these combinations, all to great effect.
